Is Episode II worth the money?Depends on how much you value your money.
I’ve played Episode 2 to the end, and I can say that the gameplay is pretty much the same thing as the first episode. There are some funny NPCs, dialogue and quests. But honestly, I expected the game to be more fun than it is for me right now.
The “Forumwarz has a cool community” argument is irrelevant because you don’t need to have Episode 2 to be in the community. (view post) |

Show off your level design skills (5 BP)ReKaZ – you made three levels, and all of them were quite well designed. You made use of many different obstacles in interesting ways; I can see that much effort was put into these levels. However the brutal difficulty means that the player will die a lot. Don’t get me wrong, I like a challenge, but “Normal” difficulty should be beginner-friendly. My suggestion would be to make more of the spikes exclusive to Hard difficulty, so those who want the challenge can have it while those with bad reflexes can still enjoy the game. You get 2 BP for very good effort. Nicco – You were the first person to understand and correctly utilize all the difficulty settings, which is commendable. The normal mode wasn’t too difficult, and the hard mode was challenging. My only gripe is that the player can jump into spikes without realizing it because they are placed just inside a new room, rendering them invisible. You get 2 BP for excellence in difficulty. Robok – Your level was both well-designed and hilarious. The taunting signs combined with tricking the player into doing everything twice made it really funny. There was no difference between normal and hard difficulty, but that’s alright with me since the trick only works once anyway. You get 2 BP for ASCII mammary glands… wait, I meant excellence in design and humor. Cyan – Your first level, Red and Blue, was fun to play and you created some interesting combinations of obstacles that I had not thought of before. However, it was only three rooms long, so I found myself unsatisfied when I reached the end. The second level on the other hand was much longer and offered a good challenge while using the color blocks well. But as you said yourself, the cliff part is annoying (it reminded me of messhof’s Punishment!). Nevertheless, you get a BP for your efforts. Celerysteve – your level was refreshing. It was not as cramped as the other levels and gave the player a lot of room to move around, and the dramatic text was funny. It did not offer a challenge to an experienced player though. You get a BP for the level. Nillo – Your level was totally awesome and flawlessly designed. But you are me, who is also the creator of the contest and the game, so you can’t participate. Of these levels, Robok’s impressed me the most, so you get an additional 3 BP which brings your total to 5 BP. Congratulations. (view post) |

Show off your level design skills (5 BP)I did beat ReKaZ’s first level, but I teleported from the first to the last teleporter and skipped some of it.
I’m pretty swamped in schoolwork right now but I’ll try out the newer levels later. Did anyone figure out how to beat my level (last post on the first page)? I think I’m going to make some changes to it because a few of the trapdoor jumps are annoying me. (view post) |

Show off your level design skills (5 BP)These are looking good. I notice that you guys seem to like ice a lot. I personally prefer to make the levels challenging in ways that don’t involve a lack of friction but I admit it does make the spike jumps a lot more difficult!
I’m fairly impressed by Robok’s teleporter trick, but I want to see new cool stuff. Do something that no one else thought of doing and you are more likely to win. Originality contributes a lot to the fun value of the level. Log in to see images! (view post) |

To fix that you could have the destination teleporters up in the air so it’s impossible to go back into them. (view post) |
