What do you do outside of Forumwarz?In my secret identity I’m a freelance programmer, but in my spare time I work on coding web-based games…kind of like Forumwarz (disclaimer: nothing like Forumwarz). I’m also working on developing other kinds of games, I just released a hentai game on the web. Log in to see images! (With the help of an artist, because I can’t draw my way out of a paper bag… ) Occasionally I try other sorts of creative expression like writing or webcomics.
I also read a lot (manga too) and play all sorts of video and computer games…currently working on Mbum Effect, Odin Sphere, Galactic Civilizations 2 and Master of Magic (big range there, yes). And I go to IGDA meetings and Kaiju Big Battels whenever they happen near me. (view post) |

What do you do to feel better?It’s an anime about middle school (I think?) girls with lots of odd random humor. I like how one of the characters is obsessed with gaming…so much so that she plays porn games just because she wants to experience different types of games.
What do I do? Sometimes I watch Idol Project, which is another cute and silly anime. Or, if I’m feeling angry-depressed, I load up DOOM and use cheat codes to slaughter huge piles of monsters.
Fortunately, though, I think I’ve got a handle on keeping myself from getting too depressed in the first place…some years of therapy I had, along with getting enough sleep on a regular basis and eating right all help with that… (view post) |

The Sisterhood presents: Secondary Stats and What They Do (Spoilers and Math within!)The Offense table is interesting…It looks like the actual calcuation is something like: the percentage is (Offense – 1) * 7.7. That would mean the actual damage is: Damage * (1 + ((Offense – 1) * .077)) Or, to put it another way: Damage * ((Offense * .077) + .923) I may be off by .1 somewhere, though, and I don’t know about the rounding. Suggestions CompilationI think it’d be cool if you could “attack” a klan’s forum. The easy way to do this would be to just pull random stuff from the forum posts to show to the user, but that’s probably not a good idea because the posters probably didn’t expect their private klan forum posts to be tossed around the side…A better idea is probably to have each klan define (that is, build) the “attack target” forum themselves. Sure, it may be low quality and pointless, but you’re the one who went and attacked it. (I think the klan forums probably shouldn’t count for stuff like the “20 forums in a row” and such things, because then there would be an explosion of new forums. But maybe that in itself makes it impossible to code…heck, maybe the klan forums should be just for fun, not using forum visits or giving cred or anything…well, I’m probably working into the realm of fantasy so I should end this post…Log in to see images!
