	This place is as barren as Char... It has been a long while but I am reminded of my new home world in coming here. A meager few who insist on vying for supremacy of a wasteland filled with no more than ashes. At least until I arrive with my armies and make it my own. You may resist if you want for it is of no consequence, you shall fall before me in due time though your tech has improved. I remember when artifacts such as this were prized amongst you worms. The Hatchery was fairly young, and most of those around me were mere Drones. But that didn’t bother me much. I guess you could say I was always the kind of Zergling who got along with folks, as long as they got along with me. And them ol’ Drones didn’t bother me much. Not long after I sprouted, we got ourselves a speed upgrade. Suddenly we Lings thought we were too hot to trot. Well, we were young; we were young. I spent my childhood on the Creep, fending off Reaper rushes and occasionally scouting the opponent’s ramp. We lived fast and loose, but we had a good time. Well, I suppose I ought to go now, as we’re about to push out. Most of my friends have morphed into Banelings. We made our goodbyes in silence, a gentle nod of the head sufficing for any words we could say. My friends will be busting down the supply depot in our way, and the Roaches and I will take care of the rest. As for me, I’m not sure I’ll make it. I hope I can take out enough SCVs for the Swarm to win the day. In any event, in my final moments, I’ll think about those first days on the Creep, the sun shining down on us, when we were young. 	9 days left Malaise Posted: I’m waiting for Kerrigan – Queen of Blades to give us her opinion before making any decision on this. I have been biding my time for far too long awaiting the first move of either the Protoss or the Humans. Though I must say that it does not surprise me that it was the humans who would be the first to act. Nor would it surprise me to learn that the Protoss are hoping that I will simply fade into the mists or remain content here on Char. I must admit though that even I was growing impatient in waiting for some action. Certainly after granting a long enough reprieve to pose at least a minor challenge when I mobilize the mighty Swarm once more, I hope that I will not have to weaken my own strikes in order to prolong my amusement. I have granted you the first move James, perhaps if it is amusing enough I will spare your life yet again in order to watch you writhe some more. With Telematros destroyed and the home world of the remaining Dark Templar no longer hidden it is only a matter of time before I grow weary of their interference and remove them from their world. They were unable to defeat me on Char with the aid of the now destroyed UED fleet and the Terran Dominion at their side. What makes you think that the 2 remaining groups have a chance against me now? 	FFX vs FFX-2 ms-karen Posted: I love Tidus, but the “good/perfect” endings kinda ruined the epicness of FFX’s ending, with him randomly appearing in the ocean. I also hate what they did with Yuna, her personality changed so much, and it was weird how even though she saved the world 2 years ago people treat her like crap (I don’t think she even got a statue, did she?) But aside from that, I liked it, it doesn’t have the same tragic ‘end of world’ mood most FF games do, which was a nice change, and I enjoyed seeing the old characters and revisiting Spira knowing no one’s gonna die at the end. Yuna was horrendous in FFX, and was made only marginally better in X-2. The one scene in FFX where Tidus is trying to get her to laugh and they fake it is atrocious. Whenever I think of Yuna my mind returns to that scene and I can’t help but think of her as some sort of inferior Borg creation. “Yunatron has bumimilated laughter”... She’s so wooden and bland that it shames me to compare her to the Borg as they at least understand the goal of improvement and evolution within a species to an ideal form. 	So this is what it's come to... Fortunato Posted: Also it’s a vibe. Patience and lurking are well known forum virtues for good reason. This is a pretty established site, so if you’re new you’re coming into some history. Some of that history is actually pretty awesome, like Myspace Tom and PANTS. I keep seeing those of you who have been around since the beginning waxing poetic over the long lost glory days of Flamebate, yet I have yet to really get a laugh out of most anything I read here. That is not to say that I don’t find some of it amusing or interesting in it’s own right but your nostalgia for a time that may never have properly existed does well to destroy any attempts of revitalization from the newer blood. In my time observing you all here I have not seen this place as dying so much as ‘evolving’. Unfortunately for you however, you are doing so about as well as humans have ever done and find ways to stunt your own growth. I can only be so thankful that I am not there so that I don’t have to hear what confused and misguided thoughts breed such self-destruction. Just as the Sons of Korhal and the UED before you, I fully expect your lack of unity to tear you all asunder with only the barest manipulations on my part. 	I require Vespene Gas Raynor is a fool. Granted I too fell for Mengsk’s plot but at very least it has allowed me to evolve beyond my old flesh. Perhaps if Jimmy were to ask me nicely I would allow him to become one of my brood, but as it stands I’m not sure whether or not his pesky desire to cause my death makes him worth keeping alive.
