I just got Chrono trigger DSI’m still unsure if the extra content is worth spending more money on a game that I’ve already finished at least 3 times.

Countdown to Mother 3I got to chapter 6 or so and then life got in the way.
I’m debating whether I’m going to restart or just continue where I left off and try to remember what was happening.

Any good Nintendo DS games out?TWEWY: Seconded. So far it’s the DS game I’ve enjoyed the most.
Well, I’m interested to see what GTA:Chinatown Wars is like. And I’m also waiting for my copy of Henry Hatsworth to arrive. That game looks like it’ll be great fun.
In terms of SRPGs, I’m also going to be getting Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume soon. It’s been getting mixed reviews, but I’ve always enjoyed the VP series. So I’ll only be able to comment on it when I have it.
But all of that is just a way to keep me occupied until Devil Survivor comes out. An SMT game on the DS = a very happy me. (view post) |

Thoughts on the Xenosaga franchise.I haven’t played XSIII yet, so I can’t comment on that.
Overall, it’s definitely a series that contains a lot of good ideas and a lot of bad ones. I’ll admit that I also got bored during some of the over-long cutscenes.
And I know that XSII’s battle system does get a lot of flak for being “overly complicated”, but I actually liked it. I liked having to plan several turns ahead of time to be able to pull off a huge elemental chain. Though the Global Samaritan sidequests ****ed me off tremendously with their glorified fetch quest approach.
I guess I’ll need to play XSIII to eventually get the full picture. (view post) |

Why do people hate FFXRegarding FFX: Any JRPG where I was able to defeat the final boss in 2 or 3 rounds earns the label of “severely unbalanced”
The only really worthwhile bit was that one random NPC with his “I wanna be a blitzball when I grow up!”
