	The official "Let's make INCIT a better game!" contest discussion thread! Alright, so the first week of the contest is officially over. For those curious, there were 10 legitimate entries this week, some more serious than others. I’m hoping it’ll pick up steam, now that the first prize has been given out. Congrats to Jubbles for that one. I am keeping detailed records of all who enter and links to their entries, more so out of a fascination with spreadsheets than anything. Feel free to ask for any details if you really want. All in all, there were three entries that actually made me laugh and had a chance of winning. The other two were Kanye West’s entry here and Fingerz’ entry here, although I admit that it’s kind of juvenile. And Raffle Ticket’s entry actually did make me laugh, for some reason. So far, we have no entries for week 2, ending on January 15th. I imagine most people forgot. I think I might spend some extra BP on advertising, and get back to JB about possible peen. 	die2nite - the various failings of Celerysteve I have very high hopes for my current town. We just started day 2, and already have a workshop, factory, watchtower, great wall strengthening, great pit and portal lock (some noobs built that one). There are **tons of zombies hanging around outside of town, making scavenging a team effort, but we’re working well together. It’s also my first town without a hero in it. That being said, 5 people registered a complaint against one of our guys after a giant dramafest started on our construction thread, all because he said (Gasp!) a swear word. Somebody told him to watch his language, I told that guy to grow the ** up, and now I’ve been called a griefer. No complaints on me yet, though, since I’m kind of leading the town forward. 	UFC 125 - MbumIVE SPOILERS HERE if you haven't seen it yet and plan to Oh man… I do love Randy Couture, in that he is a crazy old man who keeps fighting and winning in entertaining fashion (mostly), but he’s going to get stomped by Machida. And, like every Canadian currently residing in Ontario, I’m both excited and depressed that the UFC is finally coming here. Let me preface this by saying that I was a UFC/MMA fan before all the Tapout-wearing douchebags and the TV show. First UFC event I watched was UFC 43 in 2003. AAAAAAAAaanyway… I don’t know what you’re talking about saying it was **ty. There were a bunch of fairly well-known guys like Leben and Vera but there weren’t really any “huge” names on this card like a Penn or a St. Pierre. But I think there’s a few future big stars in there like Jeremy Stephens and Brian Stann (Silver Star Marine + a few more wins like that= HUGE). I totally agree with you about the Edgar/Maynard fight, no way Maynard gets 2, 3, or 4 and my round 5 went to Edgar. Also what a male reproductive organ move by that judge to call a main event title fight a draw. I’m sure a rematch will be forthcoming. I guess “ty” was bit strong of a term. I’m probably just sad that Leben and Gomi lost their respective fights. Leben’s last few have been tremendously entertaining, and I guess I was let down that he got tagged so quickly and decisively. I know Gomi is kind of now compared to his former glory days, but god dammit I still want to believe in the Fireball Kid. 	UFC 125 - MbumIVE SPOILERS HERE if you haven't seen it yet and plan to For anybody who didn’t watch the event, it was a somewhat ****ty event with a couple of saving graces. The championship fight was actually really entertaining, although it did give every fan blue balls to some degree. For anybody who did watch the event, check out Brandon Vera’s wikipedia page. His loss at this event is credited as “Submission: Bongo strikes on the back.” Not done by me, but gave me a chuckle. Also, MMA judging has had events more flagrant than this one to show that it is inept, but I really don’t see how anybody could have scored that 46-48 for Maynard. I can see how it could have been a draw, because the first round was obviously at best 10-8 Maynard, but he clearly lost the next three, and the fifth could have gone either way. This gives the possible results as 47-47 if you give Maynard the fifth, and 46-48 Edgar if he won the fifth. Someone let me know what I’m missing here; how could anybody have given the 2nd, 3rd or 4th rounds to Maynard? (view post)	01/02/2011

Maybe the OP was a bit too long for people to read, but the entries have to be wins that you racked up during the current week of the contest. For the first weekly prize (and monthly prize, so far) the official entries have to be from between Dec. 18th and then end of the first week of January. You may only submit ONE entry for this period. Meaning, you might want to wait until closer to the date before posting your entry in case you get a funnier one. Or just edit your old post, cause I’m way too lazy to try to keep track of how many everybody has posted if they edit it. Also, and I know this is a fruitless endeavor, but please keep discussion in this thread to a minimum. 	The official "Let's make INCIT a better game!" contest discussion thread! I’m really not sure why some people take offense to others trying to revive INCIT. I was here a year ago when it was more popular, and there were people who said that it was dead and nobody liked it back then (which may have been just as true, I don’t know what the “glory days” were). If you don’t like it, why bother arguing about it. There are some who do, and some who have never bothered to get into it. I think a little bit more incentive than chocolate scoops might make it more interesting. I’m sorry you find that so offensive. Anyway, I’ve been in talks with JB about possibly getting peen to go along with the contest. I’m hoping the idea picks up steam as the contest gets closer to starting, and since it’s a long-term contest, more and more will join. I read a story about some guys who tried to get banished, they did, then they started a rebellion and became the only non-banished ones. My town is currently under attack at the end of day 3, but we should be okay, bumuming somebody locked to gates.
