ITT: Goth chicksokay, all you need to do for image tags is img before the link (which has to end in a file extension, .jpg for example) and a /img at the end. both img tags need to be in these brackets: [].
if for some reason, there’s an image, but no file extension listed in the URL, right click and go to “View Source”. then do a quick search for “jpg”. open a blank tab and test the URLs with file extensions there to make sure you’ve got the correct image. it’s easier than it sounds. (view post) |

Flogging MollyNotJoePesci Posted: okay, so here’s how it breaks down with the whole “irish/celtic-punk” thing: if you want something with more traditional irish/celtic elements go with The Pogues (which you posted), if you want something that’s more punk elements than traditional irish/celtic, go with Dropkick Murphys (audio below). if you want a good balance of the two, go with Flogging Molly (in the first post) or Blood or Whiskey (also below).

Flogging Mollyi think i’ve got all of their albums. legally or not. the only one i seem to have misplaced is the copy of “within a mile of home” that a friend let me borrow (and the copy i subsequently made from it. she had the actual album).
“black friday rule” and “devil’s dance floor” from “swagger” are probably my favorite songs, along with “what’s left of the flag” from “drunken lullabies”. it’s a toss-up between “drunken lullabies” and “float” when it comes to which album is most consistently good all the way through. “swagger”, while a good album, goes from hard and fast to really really slow too often. there are good songs of both types, but it’s hard to listen to the album as a whole sometimes.
