I gave up securing this entire round from the start just to **** around as I had 54 cards before we started. You are claiming that someone “may have” abused it in your or another bracket. 	Domination Card Exploit Addressed Aggie Posted: The fault is in that your method caused “harm” to other players by preventing them from getting medals they otherwise could have gotten were it not for your cheating. I really don’t think there would have been a way for you and your Klan to announce to everyone that you were planning on doing that, but a token effort would have been nice and would have solidified your position that you were doing it for reasons other than personal gain. Did you (or any of your Klan members) post a thread telling people you would be purposely using an exploit in a very visible fashion? The fact that you told no one beforehand of your plan really makes it appear moreso that you’re just claiming the high road now that you’ve gotten caught in the act. When there’s a history of cheating happening at the exact same time in the exact same manner, it’s reasonable to bumume that it’s from the same source. Being new is nothing to be ashamed about. No one starts out knowing everything. And I agree with you: how do you know they weren’t exploiting? You can’t. How do you know they (the hypothetical cheater) weren’t trying to prove a point? Well, it seems to me that the easiest indication would be if they took advantage of it to win, rather than just to make a huge impact. Another indication is if they submitted a bug report about it. 	Domination Card Exploit Addressed Aggie Posted: Seriously, I was one of the people that got screwed out of a medal. Big deal, you say? Au contraire; it was going to be my first medal. I just started getting into Dominations because of my Klan leader’s encouragement and it took a lot of work for us to get a Klan raid organized so we all managed to get SOMETHING done. What was the result of all our work and toils? Getting zapped at the last possible second, making all our efforts worth absolutely NOTHING. I understand that people that have been playing longer would (and should) be able to easily shrug off these kinds of shenanigans with an ‘oh well’ cavalier attitude, but for newer players such as myself, this was an extremely frustrating thing to have happen. Like rohina said, I thought I was competing in a fair contest, not one that was going to be cheated at. You say that what you did was for the good of everyone? Fine. Rest on your laurels, knowing that you likely just ****ed off a number of newer players and quite possibly discouraged many of them from playing again. In fact, this whole cheating thing has made me re-evaluate not only my decision to play Dominations but also to reconsider my monetary donation to the game. Why should I pay good money to support a fun game that’s likely just going to be poisoned by people cheating “to prove a point?” Like I said earlier, rest on your laurels, ladies and gentlemen. 	Domination Card Exploit Addressed Madam Lash Posted: Speaking as someone who was totally screwed out of medals by the oh-so-public-spirited people who exploited the bug “for my convenience,” I’d like to know why if they thought they wouldn’t get away with it, they weren’t discussing the issue anywhere, specifically in on the Wall in each Domination contest, for example. You know, something like “hai guys, don’t get all bent out of shape that we are beating you because we ARE cheating, but we are doing it for a reason”. Don’t be all claiming of the moral high ground. As someone who was there when it was organized, I can answer that question, because I actually suggested that myself. There was one reason in particular why this idea was rebumed. Posting that we were using an exploit would have inspired other people to look for it. Some would have found it. Then things would have been even more hectic than they were. I tried to keep it subtle but Arktor took it over the top, by getting 200 cards. That’s why I went crazy last domination. I figured it would be fixed the same week.
