Photoshopped doesn’t mean fake, necessarily. In fact, digital adjustments & enhancements can actually result in a more accurate depiction of the original scene, especially if the image was captured with improper equipment settings. And even traditional ‘film’ images are adjusted & enhanced during the printing process.
Every photograph made in the last 25 years (possibly longer) has some level of adjustment done, usually by the photofinisher. Whether it is done with filters during the lightbox phase, dodging & burning, or on a computer, it’s still adjusting the image. bumuming that Photoshop (or any other software) is making a picture ‘unreal’ is a misconception.
Unless you are combining elements from different images into a composite, then it’s not really ‘fake’. Just enhanced.
