I joined around the spyper update, thought it was pretty fun then. Started going downhill for me around the time portal 2 was being worked on so no new content and when new content did start coming out it was bad.

The items in that update were amazing. So were the maps. The drops were fun too. But that was easily the start of the big decline with hats.
