I use McAfee…mostly because I get it free from school. Got Office 2007 for like $5 too…but of course like with any Microsoft product they decided to improve it by ****ing it up. The new “ribbon” in Word is stupid and annoying.

I know that dismissing any Microsoft product is sort of a knee jerk reaction for most people, but actually try the thing before jumping on the Bill Gates is Satan bandwagon. IE is garbage, and I never owned a 360, but Security Essentials actually catches almost all of the malware out there, and unlike McAfee, is not a complete attention whore. It works silently in the background like any proper AV should.

Seriously, what is it with AV programs that have to interrupt you every ****ing 5 seconds with a pop-up to tell you what their doing at that very moment? It’s like dealing with a 2-year old. Jesus Christ just do your job and do it quietly… Most of them are like this but McAfee is the worst of the worst. That and it’s a complete system resource hog that cripples your system much better than most viruses ever could.
