Chapter 2

Unlike the first chapter, which is quite substantial in length, Peter Chimaera brings the tension to a fine point in chapter 2. Every word is carefully selected, and all else discarded leaving a short, but action-packed scene with a few more plot twists.

These are the opening lines to the second chapter:

John Bank opened his briefcase and found evidence and it was evidence proving that he was a traitor John said “I have to kill you because you traitor!”

So he took out his gun and shot the chief .

From the very beginning, we have another plot twist – Chief Michael is a traitor to the mission where John must diffuse bombs. John is ruthless, and does not hesitate in killing his long-time ally.

After the act, a wave of sorrow washes over John, but he knows he must continue his mission.
