Two important questions:

1. In the process of creating lolicon (i.e. sexual drawing of young girls engaging in sexual acts), are real children actually harmed in the process? Do lolicon artists use real girl models to draw them? Do they use child pornography? Their own children? (Heaven forbid!) Medical pictures? Or do they just copy them from prior lolicon artists?

2. Do people who have lolicon fetish go out and enjoy/seduce/abuse real children? Or do they just use those materials to satisfy themselves, alone and in private? If there are lolicon fan who go out and hurt real children (and I’m sure there are), how many are them? And most importantly, how many are them compared to the whole lolicon community?

As far as I know, lolicon is still legal in Japan, while child pornography and child abuse is definitely not. Looks like Japaneses know how to draw the line: if no real children is hurt, it’s a victimless crime, and you can do what you want.

P.S. In time like this, I’m glad I have an obacon/siscon (older girls/big sisters) fetish. At least no one can put me in jail for that.
