I laid down that night, tired and not feeling well. As I drifted off to sleep, my body began to shut down. Lightning flashed, rain splashed against the roof of the house. My heartbeat slowed, my breathing stopped, and as a strike of thunder hit, my spirit was gone leaving it’s empty shell behind.
