Are we talking about the same Igor Cavalera? You aren’t, apparently. I haven’t heard him play a blast beat since maybe Beneath the Remains.
When a guy can play 6 different types of percussion in one live setlist (and not suck) I tend to be impressed. He may not be as technical as someone like Mike Portnoy but I don’t think Keith Moon was as technical as John Bonham, hence the comparison. Moon’s still the greatest drummer ever. |
