I agree with the premise of this contest, but share the concerns of others. The way this is set up is going to encourage a lot of good ideas and very little (if any) invigoration of the community. The phrase “flash in the pan” comes to mind for some reason.

And as one of the biggest “gimmick alts” on the site, I agree completely that good “rp” requires depth, thought, and most importantly, perseverance. Great gimmicks are not born, they’re made. Don’t reward people for their ideas, reward them for what they do.
