TUC and Charlie Sheen are both great examples of depth-filled gimmick alts. I know PP is hardly an average poster, but gimmicks can be fun, long-lasting and deep.

Gimmicks by definition have no depth and I wouldn’t clbumify those examples of your as gimmick alts. Gimmick alts those are like good post upvoted. Look, its not a question of semantics. And we don’t need anymore of Banhammer’s and everyone else’s lies about the state of role playing and why people don’t do it.

Look, here is a fact. A better way to encourage role playing is to reward those that are already role playing. Like what SRSLY used to do. Award brownie points to those who were voted the best role player in a period of time. Not to people that might, one day, eventually, if they get around to it and aren’t too busy role play.
