can u find the area between the circles without using calculus?

i’ve tried but not really succeeding

by circles i mean the curves inside the square; the area where they intersect

Area of intersection = Area of Triangle + 2 * (Area inside 60 degree sector – Area of triangle)

Equivalent: Intersection = (2 * Area of 60 degree sector) – Area of triangle

———

Area of 60 degree sector = (pi * r^2)/6 = (pi * 1)/6

Area of triangle = (sqrt 3)/4

———

Intersection = (2 * (pi / 6)) – (sqrt 3)/4

.. = pi / 3 – (sqrt 3)/4

.. = 0.614 (3dp)
