The investment of time usually means that the contest takes place over a long period of time, usually split up which various things the host must do at each stage. Involvement is an on going thing; not something where you set the contest, let people enter, then judge it all when its over. Those are not very elaborate, and are kind of set and forget kind of thing.

As for lots of bp, idk that doesn’t really seem like it should factor in. You could conceivably have a “random post after 500 wins 60 bp!” contest, which is no work at all.
