I think children should have the right to love and be loved and express themselves sexually. Children aren’t scarred by consensual encounters with each other and adults: they are scarred by the oppression of their sexuality.

Children aren’t harmed by sex with adults but we are harming them by convincing them it is so. We’re saying “You were raped! You were scarred! Don’t take responsibility for your life but blame all your problems on the pedophile!”

By brainwashing children into thinking sex is wrong, it is no surprise that they start to look back on experiences with adults in a new light and feel wronged by them.

Do children never have negative experiences with adults? Of course they do, occasionally. Just as adults sometimes have negative experiences with other adults. Because that’s life. Just don’t make a fuss about it.
