Nope, finishing at 3am is preferable to not being able to participate at all 2 or 3 weeks out of 4.

If the end time were moved to the weekend, this wouldn’t be an issue.

A) Some people work on the weekends (I don’t anymore, but I used to).

B) Some people who don’t work want to go places on their days off.

C) Some people have social lives and want to go out Friday/Saturday nights.

TL;DR: A rolling time might be a pain in the bum for a couple weeks, but it’s a pain in the bum for everyone, as opposed to being completely unplayable for a subset of the population. When you share a necessary disadvantage as evenly as possible among the players, that’s called balance.
