Part of the job of an Apprentice is working with other Apprentices, as well as the Auditors and Advisors. If a person proves himself (or herself) to be incapable of working with others, or gives off a vibe whereby they cannot be worked with, it is probably best for that person to be removed as an Apprentice before any real work needs to be done.

That’s a good point, although that person could just work in a sandbox and get no say on the final synthesis of his/her work with others’.
