Yup. We’re going to do it differently with E3, where we’ll have a staggered Beta. We actually ahve enough applications for this testing that I might try it here on a smaller scale.

Basically, you let in X players. Let them test, get feedback, apply fixes. When done, let in X different players. They’ll have the same initial enthusiasm, but with an updated version. If this can be done 3-4 times, I’m sure the end product will be much more stable.

Also if you come across players that don’t mind the grind and give good feedback invite one or two into the next round of testing so they can compare the changes.

You could even set it up as an incentive to get people to compete to give the best detailed feedback, in order to get into the next round.
