Ya check for bad sectors with chkdsk.

If your start menu doesn’t have the RUN command, press the Windows key and ‘R’ on your keyboard. (windows key being the stupid thing between left control and alt.

type in CMD and run it. then type CHKDSK /f

it’ll say it needs to reboot to scan, press Y for yes

if it doesn’t automatically restart your PC, restart it.

When it loads windows this time it’ll do a text mode full scan of your drive and probably find file system errors.

And signed, prof commie. NOD32 is the best antivirus on the market according to most things.

Agreed.

Chkdsk is basically the same thing as HDD Regen, but it’s a bit slower and if corrupted can harm system files.

Also, I use NOD32, and it’s really kickbum.
