People only “love” each other because other people “love” each other. Love is pretty much a disease. Why do you think they call it lovesick.

At the risk of sounding like a total sap(and I know I will), I have to disagree with you.

While I don’t believe in “story book love”, I do know that true love exists.

I’ve been married for over 10 years now, and I love my wife so much that it is all at once the greatest happiness and the greatest pain in my life. I think it’s called “lovesick” because of the pain in my gut I feel at the very idea of ever having to live my life without her.

The idea of love as dictated by main stream media may be bull****, but when the person you’re with in a relationship is also your best friend in the world, can it really be anything other than love?
