This is the thread that I mentioned in the Suit thread.

This idea is designed to richen gameplay to make forum pwning a more strategic experience as opposed to grindiness.

The first change would be the most noticeable. Look at any real forum. You will see that you don’t initally see a list of topics, but a list of boards. Now, you would when opening a forum, be able to select between boards. You would also be able to when in a board “zoom out” to the main area and select one of the other boards. Boards in the forumbuilt forums could be automatically generated based on the three “topics”.

Furthermore, many forums are somewhat popular, so there would be many, many topics in each board.

Now, at the bottom of most forums’ main index is a Who’s Online list. This would become fundamental to forumpwning. The definition of pwning would change from destroying all topics to being the last person online. Though topics can still be pwned, this merely helps your goal instead of being your goal. Pwning a topic increases the irritation meter of the forum. When the irritation meter is filled, a random person leaves. Some bonuses can be gained for certain things. For instance, going back to very old topics and posting in one gets a Necrobump bonus.

You can also start new threads using standard attacks. Simply press the “new topic” bumon found in each board and then use a standard attack, and a new thread will be created. The longer you keep it alive from the attacking forumites, the more the irritation meter fills.

Some people have special powers. For instance, the most popular and influential people may be able to heal the irritation meter by calming the forum, or rally the forum to hit harder. Mods may be able to ban you (an instakill) or delete your posts, cancelling your damage, or modify them to make you look like a fabulous person, decreasing your ego.

Also, it would be really nice if there was a male reproductive organ smiley. Maybe it could look like the epeen symbol.
