Speaking from experience (my lvl32 emo alt), ignore the self mutilate abilities. the whine-o tier is all you’ll ever need. Don’t bother with defense, add points to ego and tears to begin with. Once you have sufficient equips to make up for the tears, redistribute your points into ego and offense. Never bother with defense, you -want- to get hit, it makes you stronger.
