Edited to add: Also, there are some credit card companies that allow 16+ to get a credit card with a parent as a cosigner, and many others who will let you have an “emergency fund” account (like $300 or something) for any age. I know I had one of those as well, when I was 17.
Visa/USBank also teamed up with “VisaBuxxx”, a prepaid card that works exactly like a Visa but has a predetermined amount per month (allowance credit card… heh) and I had one when I was 14. RenoTrouble edited this message on 01/15/2009 5:55PM |
