I’m going to make an unorthodox suggestion, since all the obvious ones have been made, and recommend “The Hut of Baba Yaga” by Mussorgsky, Ravel’s orchestration. Salonen conducts the opening part at a really fast tempo, which I think fits well with your project. The song is actually about a man being harbumed by an evil witch, and there’s a bit in the middle where he seems to be getting away but finding her around the corner before the real chase resumes (1:00-2:00 in the video I’m linking). Also, this song is usually performed back to back with the next song as the finale of the “Pictures at an Exhibition” suite, which starts in the video at 2:58. The first chord at 2:58 is the end of “Baba Yaga” and the beginning of the “Great Gate of Kiev”. This song is a VERY nationalistic slow fanfare (perfect for a victory song), and if you think of it as such, you will find it comically drags on. It’s the finale to a very long suite, and it’s basically one big long coda.
