Those do believe in God don’t need any sort of rationalization. Faith, by definition, is a belief that does not rest on logical proof or material evidence.

The need to try to rationalizes stems from a challenge to that belief. Due to the enormous controversy over God’s existence (especially when religion defends itself), supporting it would be a weak matter of burden of proof. Then again, they’ll keep believing anyways regardless of what you or others think.

Believe God’s existence to be impossible? Hurray for you. End of discussion.
