That is on the post reply box whenever you post in a NON-RPG forum. No excuses. The ban should stand.

A) The post in question wasn’t out of tone for the thread. If FAIL is banned for the post, then the OP should also be banned. I don’t think either of them should be banned, but it should be both or neither.

B) Yeah, the text is there as a reminder, but it’s easy to miss, especially when you enter a thread that has such an inflammatory title to begin with.

C) Before the ban was put in effect, FAIL apologized for his error. He could have (and should have) edited his previous posts as well, but I could see a Mod claiming that he was simply trying to ‘hide his crime’.
