It’s mostly that the newer pokemon they keep introducing are basically ****tier versions of old ones. And they tend to take out/make it ridiculously difficult to get the awesome old ones from before.
If they made the same quality creatures as were in the first few games I would be happy, but it just seems like they’re INTENTIONALLY making gayer versions of old ones (For example, the legendaries from Pearl/Diamond were basically Groudon and Kyogre except pink and purple. Not that Groudon or Kyogre were all that great in the first place, but it illustrates my point.)
