To play devil’s advocate: If a peen were announced as a potential reward in the first place, it’s possible some people who otherwise didn’t participate would have, and they may have won. So I think it would be unfair to introduce the peen post facto.

I hadn’t thought of it — how about this: if the submissions are great then yes.
