It’s an internet game called the Kingdom of Loathing, aka KoL. It’s mainly stick figure based. You can play as one of six distinct clbumes, playing in numerous quests with the overall goal of freeing a king. After you free him, you can ascend, which means you start at level one again, but you can retain a skill from your previous life.
