Because it’s awesome. I basically only see my desktop when I reboot, which is every month or two. I usually have a browser, mIRC, a command prompt, fifteen windows explorer windows (including the desktop in list form), and some other various apps open, so nothing there gets much screentime.

I do like Sanc, every time i change picture i dump it and forget about it, every time i think i’ll remember to look there but it’s all junk.

I actually keep important stuff in there though, like Eclipse and my Java IRCbot.
