Seriously, I don’t know why it’s a lagging. I use cable and I’m not sure if you are on dial-up. The earliest I’m on is 10 am EST. But usually do may gaming around 4pm EST unless I’m busy. It’s not really high powered computer (1.18 ghz and 2 gig RAM). Maybe you have too many programs running?

I am not sure that lag has something with local machine(bumuming that local machine is more powerful than old pentium-166mmx). It’s problem of forumwarz server (btw, afaik current Ruby implementations are VERY SLOW, PROOFLINK).

Sometimes while FW is trying to refresh battle screen, I manage to

a) wait about second/other

b) open new tab

c) type google.com

d) type some random query like “kjdfsk”

e) press “google search”

f) read some entries

g) switch back to FW
