I think trying to convert you would be disrespectful to you as an individual capable of forming your own opinions and understanding of life.

Inviting such attempts no doubt in order to refute them is a puerile, condescending game. So, I wouldn’t try to convert you, and I’d wish you capable of respecting my opinions without seeing them as a threat to your own.
