I don’t know, I kind of see it as exactly as it’s presented: We’ll try to lead fulfilling meaningful lifes, improve the world in some manner, and exercise logic in reason in all our pursuits.

I’d consider it more worship of rationalism and ‘the’ human being in general and not worship of the self. The latter is much more like Laveyan Satanism.
