Are pictures repeating too often? If so, that’s something we should know so ET can take (another) look at the algorithm. But it should be cycling through every single picture (in a random order) before repeating any.

One thing to keep in mind, though. It’s possible (although should be rare) that image #3974 in the order becomes image #10 when the images get shuffled again. It’s possible that you’ll see the same image twice, but it shouldn’t be happening often.

Getting good flamebate posters to play is a great idea except there are only about 5 of those and they don’t want to play. Retire it and replace it with something like iSketch (Pictionary). An Apples to Apples ripoff could also be fun if done right. Maybe even a multiplayer casino. Just please no more image macro creators.

I played it quite a bit when I first joined – had a lot of fun in the chat – but then when I actually started playing Dom I found that buildr was a much better use of my time for the scoops. Protivation and the heavier restrictions that went with it kinda sucked even more of the fun out of it. I don’t go back because every time I do its tumbleweed city.

OP is right. People always knocked incit, even back when it was relatively decent, but that’s not even the case anymore… It really, REALLY is **** now.

I tried to convince them to create and add an iSketch-esque minigame to ForumWarz well over a year ago. This was around the time they originally brought Invariel on claiming he was going to be working on a new game of some sort, and JB and I talked about it and how it could be implemented for a while, me espousing the merits of more side content to keep people playing. Then nothing ever got mentioned about it again.

I still support the idea.

Most of the fun I’ve had on FWZ has come from INCIT, and even I’ve largely had to give up on it lately, since in the last few weeks, the user base just up and disappeared. The lack of players is tragically self-reinforcing.

Increasing its impact on Dom might bring more interest. One suggestion that comes up in every INCIT thread is to give scoops for voting for enough winning entries.

Also, OrsonScottCard’s idea about cancelling rounds was brilliant. Do it now.

Everybody hated INCIT from the very beginning. The only reason we used it was for the scoops.

But yeah it was fun to chat about how much INCIT sucked.

Now it still sucks but there’s nobody lft to talk about it.

I think, (it’s just a theory I’m throwing out there) part of the reason why the user base kept shrinking until it vanished was that over a period of months INCIT was dominated by not so funny individuals who were also (allegedly) flagrant cheaters.

In fact, now that I think of it, the recent rapid decline started right around the time the zealous policing of INCIT began (Enter: Protivate) and the installation of a resident mod. The few cheaters who were keeping INCIT alive (barely) for their own purposes were driven away and now it’s dead for good.

I’m sure that, like flies to a pile of manure, if you try to resurrect INCIT they will come back. Just forget it and look for something else that’s fun.

So this morning (EU time) some guys and me played INCIT, just for the old times, and I still think it can be fun.

Maybe we’ll just need to change some little things, as said above, to make it even more fun for more people. Those are only suggestions, so feel free to add more.
