I’m sure the parents of the kid didn’t take the picture as cp, but I honestly don’t want to look at naked children. I guess it would be funny to find your kid like that, but if you can’t understand the implications of posting the pic online you’re a bad parent. ps. Comparing the two pictures, independent of their context and the history of the people that posted them, and I can see where there is some disagreement.
But there is far more to the situation than that. One is an intentional ‘F*** YOU’, the other was not intended as CP.
Personally, I’d rather err on the side of caution in regards to pictures of children (I’m not personally happy about the picture used for one of the ItemBuildr items), and this particular picture was discussed in the Mod forum. The general consensus was that it was not a sexualized picture of a nude minor, and therefore, didn’t step over the line.
As far as an official stance, I’ll leave that to the higher-ups. |

Go on youtube and read comments for proof that pedos love ‘innocent’ videos of kids (and then youtube bans their accounts).
One is a drawing and the other is an actual kid, so it’s p obvious which one pedos would love more if it came right down to it.
It’s like saying a naked girl has to be acting sexy for a guy to perv over it, as long as someone thinks its hot then it doesn’t matter if it’s innocent or not. |

I’m here to help people and keep the forums clear of bull**** that breaks the rules.
The problem is that the rules aren’t terribly clear making them difficult to enforce fairly.
Vagueness leaves lots of it up entirely to personal interpretation. Mods and CZ have vastly different opinions on lots of things.
CZ and friends will be working on this. (hopefully) |
