are there any caps for defence and offence ? got floyd today and thought it would be quite a boost. but i dont feel a real change while pwning forums. |

IIRC, Each +1 Offense gives you +8% Damage from your attack’s base damage. If your base attack does 200 points, and you’ve got Offense 100, then that Attack does 1800 points. Add in the Pink Floyd, and you’ve got Offense 130, or 2280 points.
Test it out and see what the actual damage number differences are between PF equipped and unequipped. |

It’s all about proportions. From 100 to 200, it feels like a big increase because the value doubled, but going from 2000 to 2500, it feels like there wasn’t much of a change because the relative increase went down (25% compared to 100%), even though absolute increase was greater (500 compared to 100). |

Actually, since I’m running HOFF today, I went ahead and ran the numbers during two visits.
Attack: Political Flamebait (350 Base Damage) Offense 84: 2585 Offense 89: 2719 Offense 99: 2988 Offense 104: 3123 Offense 114: 3392 Offense 119: 3527 Offense 129: 3796 Offense 134: 3931 From 84 -> 114: 2585 -> 3392 = +807 Damage or a 31% Increase. From 104 -> 134: 3123 -> 3931 = +808 Damage or a 26% Increase. In other words, an 800 point bump in damage is going to feel like a smaller increase the higher your original offense was.
