What do you mean? I had the recording from a couple years ago (high school graduation gift for my friends) and added the “hi this is me” on the front with my crappy laptop mic a couple days ago, so that’s why the quality suddenly shifts.
It was really hard recording to a click track though; that’s why the rhythm’s off in a few places. |

I don’t know… for some reason listening to a couple submissions has got me thinking people can easily patch a professionals recording after recording their name.
I’m suspicious of a couple entries.
I would love to think there’s that much talent on this forum but with the WAY the submissions are now being accepted I’m skeptical. |

Yeah, I wondered about that, myself. I initially sent in a (crappy laptop mic recorded) version of The Rose, but since the one person offered the more professional recording of When You’re Good to Mama, I wanted to stay competitive.
It should be plenty clear by round two, though, since it’s voter-chosen and everyone does the same song, and I highly doubt a bunch of people have self-recordings of Rick Astley songs lying around :/ |
