ET, or paid CZ representative, please inform us why people with excess flezz and nothing to do with it can’t artificially create a market for junk items, for our own amusement and to the detriment of no other players besides those who wish to get involved.
I cite a few recent auctions as examples of what I believe to be falsely labeled “abuse” auctions.
http://www.forumwarz.com/auctions/show/33252 http://www.forumwarz.com/auctions/show/38197 http://www.forumwarz.com/auctions/show/35050 http://www.forumwarz.com/auctions/show/29345
There is nothing in the kyoubai rules that states auctions of this type are illegal, and quite frankly you have a ridiculous policy of auto-confiscating any bids which seem out of line. I know it saves you the hbumle of having to review auctions, but this strict of a policy can’t be excused to save a little work.
I eagerly await a reply, and fully expect a change in the “abuse” flagging procedure.
If this does indeed violate how you envisioned Kyoubai working, I’m sorry. In my opinion, making kyoubai function within such strict rules makes it just another worthless feature for the high level-high flezz user. If I already have 5 million flezz, why would I go through the hbumle of creating auctions of my junk equipment for another million flezz? If I already have whatever I want, why would I bother browsing the auctions that are up? I thought we had found a way to have a little fun with this auction house, but clearly, in the name of “balance” all fun must be forsaken. |

I agree with you Mr. Bliggity. I believe you have stumbled across something very enjoyable for the community to participate in: seeing who can spend the most on a specific junk item.
No harm or foul is being committed to any party, except the sheer embarrbumment when you get outbid on the mutilated koala you have always wanted. |

I completely agree, I have had more fun in the last few days with Kyoubai than I have up to this point. I will grant that Kyoubai is and has been very useful, and has made me Flez rich (for whatever that means), but why can’t I use that flez to make FAIL and Hobart wallow in failure over the good times they could have had with O’s koala. |

Yet more proof that arbitrary leaderboards make people take things too seriously and ruin chaos/fun that should be allowed for all.
Otherwise you may be legally obligated to drop the ‘parody’ in the description of FW, because people are taking this **** p seriously imho. |

How bout just making it so you can’t bid on alt’s auctions?
That would make it so you don’t need to manually look for abuse. |

Our customer service sucks so bad that I already responded to this in a thread yesterday even though it was a Sunday and most people get to take days off, just so people would have an early answer.
Now I’m replying in this thread to say the same thing: we’ll discuss at our meeting tonight.
Stop trolling in GD please. |

You already can’t bid on your alt’s auctions. You also can’t use alts to bid up your current bid on someone else’s auction. |

I don’t see why they don’t just put in an automated system so that you just plain CAN’T make multiple accounts on 1 IP unless given explicit permission. |

Because many people share IP addresses. For example, a dorm room might have one gateway for 100 students.
Also, getting permission wouldn’t be feasible. It would be far too time consuming to check up on every request for permission.
Finally, many people’s IPs change all the time (mine does on my ISP quite often) and they would easily get around such checks. |
