Given the expansive amount of adult material that is allowed in RP forums as well as the seemingly adult content that is part of the main game, it seems only logical that a rule be added restricting users under the age of 18, or the age of majority in their country.

This will help indemnify Crotch Zombie of any wrong doing when younger posters arrive and will bumist moderators in banning individuals who claim to be underage. In much the same fashion as pretending to be someone who is permabanned will get you banned, so should claiming to be underage get you banned if this rule were to go into effect.

While Fran’s thread was in GRP, it raised a good point. If 16 year olds continuously post nudes in RP then before long we are talking about federal trouble. Not to mention it might be nice to add a caveat to the rule that bans those who support or advocate loli or pedophilia.

We discussed this one night in IDC not too long ago. ABSOLUTELY this site, or at least certain portions of it, need to be restricted to “adults” (and I use that term loosely) only. Credit card verification will help cut down on the number of underage players who manage to sneak in, and those who do get past that age verification system will likely NOT do stupid **** (like post noodz of their underage selves) to draw attention to themselves.

Why restrict it? If the people don’t want to see this **** then they can simply not look. Sure you can worry about people posting underage pictures but why should everyone suffer for it?(Not speaking all of FWZ.) Plus the CC verfication will only complicate things and not that hard to get by.(lololol I took parents CC and now I enter it! I so smart and over 18!) IMO it might drive people away finding out to get the full experiance of FWZ they have to enter personal information.

Nah, just put a disclaimer that you must be 18 to enter if you ever do anything. Therefore the kids can technically still play, you get monies from them, and the only time you really have to ban them is when they admit they are under 18.

100% signed. Forumwarz.com is a website that is obviously not suited for minors, so it would prevent Evil Trout from a lot of trouble to make people confirm that they’re full-aged when they signed up. It’s not even important if they really are full-aged or not, it’s all about legal issues here.

Yeah, I was kind of amazed when I realized under 18’s were even allowed here. I’m agreeing with Fran’s original petition (unban Hobo! ban Patch!), but you really should at least be smart enough to cover your bum.

Definitely ban forever anyone who posts an under 18 nude of themselves and then report them to the authorities so they can get arrested for CP possession. Log in to see images!
