It is starred by Will Ferrell. Basically, the main storyline is that there is this female author who is currently writing a fiction-based book, but it turns out that Will Ferrell (main character) is actually the main character of her book. So, the author is writing the book at the same time Will Ferrell is living. In every one of the author’s books, the character ends up dying. So, Will Ferrell is like “wtf is going on?”

It’s some good ****. I recommend it to anyone who hasn’t seen it before.

Although I hate Will Farrel movies, I also would recommend Stranger Than Fiction. True, you’re no going to be on the edge of your seat like any other of his movies, but I really liked the characters in it. Something… I don’t know.

Lucky Number Slevin, also a good pick.

I just saw The Wrestler, and it was absolutely beautiful, just like every other Aronofsky film (being Pi, Requiem for a Dream, and The Fountain).

I’d also strongly recommend Hard Core Logo, which follows a punk band on the road across Western Canada. It’s my very favorite.

As far as comedy goes… well, I don’t tend to like most comedy. Mel Brooks is great (esp. Young Frankenstein and Blazing Saddles) and Airplane is probably the funniest movie of all time. I find these movies have hilarious parts: Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Fight Club, Dr. Strangelove, Miller’s Crossing (or anything else by the Coen Bros.) and From Dusk Till Dawn.
