One of the first things I’ll be doing is a bit of cleanup in the Game Discussion forum. This is the one forum which really should be spam-free. A modigreat times of in-character posts are acceptable, but there’s a reason sigs don’t show up here — this is where people should be able to go for help and info about the game, without obnoxious intrusions. There are other forums (plenty of them) where obnoxious intrusions are acceptable, and even desirable, but this isn’t one of them.
This isn’t anything new, it’s all spelled out in the Game Discussion Rules thread.
In the future (when Evil Trout has time and adds the capability) I’ll be moving some threads around in the other forums, too, to try to keep them where they belong.
Yeah, I know it seems kind of weird to try to stop people from doing what the game’s all about in the first place. What can I say? I’m weird like that. And in other ways. Log in to see images! |
