Sorry, you mistook my origins, entirely my fault for being unclear. By yankee, I’m referring to those that unfortunately hail from the frozen Northern States, while I myself hail from the balmy Southern States. I should have used the more correct term, ‘damn yankee’ instead to keep confusion to a minimum.

You forgot collard greens, chitterlings and all of cajun food. That’s ok, you damn yankees never did understand the proper use of hot sauce.

Also, whiskey fail. Whiskey (with both an H and an E) is an American invention not limited to any particular region. Bourbon, however, is uniquely Southern as it hails from Bourbon County, Kentucky. Whisky (with the H, but not the E) is a Canadian attempt at Whiskey, and it has it’s adherents, mostly due to it’s ease of mixing. Nobody orders a Canadian whisky on the rocks.

At least -real- men don’t need ice. But hot sauce is good. For food that is fit for human consumption.
