118% of normal damage boost

=867% boost

=2224 damage

229/335 = 68%

132% of normal damage boost

=970% boost

=2461 damage

176/335 = 53%

The numbers are actually quite close. I’m starting to think that the error is from the calculation of the offense point bonus, rather than the low-ego bonus.

That means that I need to go back and get a more accurate offense/bonus calculation. ****. Log in to see images!

Ok, as I’ve already put in the wiki, I’m now testing a new value for offense. It has to be somewhere between 7.6033 and 7.6142 in order to properly round to +700% at 92 offense, but since damage is an integer I need the strongest non-ego-boosted attacks possible in order to get accurate information.

I just hope that ET is having it round instead of just dropping extraneous decimal places; it would make things that much more complicated.

On a related note, the new numbers suggest that you would need an offense of about 159 while being at 2% hp to take-out the Geronimo boss thread.

If my calculations are right, the maximum possible (with known .moar files)’s 153 158

out of 175 upgrade points:

16 for Everybody Hurts, 2 more for Life After Death -> leaves 157

first 4 Offense points cost 7 upgrade points total -> 150

all others cost 3 -> +50 offense

that’s 55, bumuming Emos start with Offense 1. (do they?)

+ 16 from their starter packs

+ 10 from the second Hacker book

+ 15 from the best Tattoo and Piercing

+ 7 from more random keystrokes.dtbs

+ 30 from pink floyd

+ 7 from, say, The Soggiest Cracker.leer

+ 6 from useless program that only wastes space.exec

+ 7 from ****.MILF

= 153

No, it goes by what percentage of your ego is gone. The higher your max ego the closer you can get to 0% without putting yourself at risk, and the more of a damage boost you have after LADing. At 100ego, you would need to bring yourself down to 2 ego to get a 1.98 multiplier to your offense and you’d be at only a 1.8 multiplier after LAD kicked in. At 1000 ego you get the 1.98 multiplier at 20ego, and LAD puts you right back there after the first hit.

Also, Maha, you forgot that you need to boost your ego if you want to get a high low-ego bonus. You NEED that to take-down Geronimo, as without it you would need an offense of around 312.

Oh, and “still has”? You can STILL hit THE_**** up for ‘roids. I just did it, in fact.
