Due to your name, I bumume you are familiar with Orwell’s 1984. The Party tried to eliminate all sexual pleasure in humans, but couldn’t stop Winston and Julia from engaging in sexual intercourse. This means that there will always be people that will try and have sex. So eliminating sex is futile.
Cloning people might create more people, but it would be extremely difficult to completely eliminate the need/desire for sex.
