Raepdog-Bot 5000 <Spoilers>

So far it seems that there are no robots playing ForumWarz, no bots in IDC, that aside from out chums like Gamble, Exre, and INCIT we are a community with no robots. That is why Im putting an end to this with Raepdog-Bot 5000. Raepdog-Bot 5000 will be a robot designed to pwn forums, and be my worry free solution to getting a lvl 35 re-re. Sure it will be hard, but it will also be awesome. So far I only have a script to do so through iMacro though this has got a problem. It can only know a set line of commands, I do not know when to tell it to go to another thread, or when to heal. That is why I am asking you the people to help me figure out how to by-pbum these problems, and what programs to do such.
Raepdog-Bot 5000 will also be a robot in IDC, that will have fun games to play, tell jokes, and do bot stuff. So far I checked the rules and this is not against any of them.
Tasks at Hand: -Find a program that will allow me to do these things, or use iMacro. -Have it detect such things as low health. -Get it to transition once the thread has been pwned. -Have it know about boss threads. -Have it know how to gamble correctly.
Task for the Future: -Have it detect messages in IDC. -Have it respond to messages in IDC. -Cross word puzzle game? -To win INCIT, for each picture Ill give a list of memes and it can ad-lib the rest. Raepdog edited this message on 11/16/2008 8:00PM |

So far for healing it would take the max damage delt to him, and when hes within two hits from death heal. I think that’s adequate time. |

I like the idea of a game playing bot. And because it’s only applied to a permanoob you don’t run the risk of being competitive.
If this were for any other clbum I’d be shocked and appalled.

I thought botting *any* gameplay was illegal. Regardless of character clbum. Who cares if it doesn’t give the char a significant advantage over other clbumes, it still gives a significant advantage over other re-res.
I call shenanigans on this one… big time. |

While botting gameplay is against the rules I’m not sure that it’s worth the effort to actually do this project. Arktor and a handful of other people managed to script running a few forums but the sheer complexity of doing this without access to the game routines (like ET uses with his test-bots) would be pretty hefty.
I think scripting INCIT would be an easier task and could actually be more funny than most of the submissions (sure they would typically be incomprehensible but that would add to the originality). |

I thought the rule was no bots that give you a competitive edge. If it’s a bot that runs things outside of lemon times it was frowned upon but not illegal. |

I was told back when this project was FAILbot a robot to replace the then banned fail that robots are not illegal. Its not to give me an edge, its to save me some time. If you guys want it will not play INCIT, though the point was to prove an unfunny moron with only a list of memes and unoriginality can win.
If CZ would like, you could make the robot illegible to do any Dom. Remove its chances of scoops. |
