I still think frugality is important because making money is also important to me. Here is another question: Does high frugality more effectively counter the cost of equipment repair than high upkeep?

One more question. You all seem like you put a lot more points into ego and sexiness than I did. I want to know the best balance between ego points and defense points. Sexiness seems unnecessary because of the mbumive boosts the new camwhore items give.

Actually I lied. One more question. Do you think that luck is more important than defense?

Once you can 1-shot everything (I hit by ~2900 with Fetish Pics), you eliminate repair costs since you don’t take hits at all (unless you do a forum with ~3k health like Schadenfreude).

That answers your second question: Since you don’t really have repairs anymore, it does pay when you’re doing the rare forum with a lot of health.

I put points on Ego just so I could survive forums like Schadenfreude without needing to drug up (since I didn’t put points into It’s Playtime). The defense you get by gear, and .moar files, are enough.

I’d say, at this point, that luck is more important. But not by much.

Zi, as Fran said, once you hit level 33ish? offense is your best friend. If you put a ton in offense you can one or two shot things and you take almost no damage – thus you don’t need to invest any points into upkeep.

I run with my ego at 300 (Fran is brave, I don’t want to die if a forum is released that hits for a decent amount.)

Defense – just what I get from equipment. Once you hit a certain point the best defense is a good offense. You know who said that? Mel, the cook on Alice. Log in to see images! Frugality – nice to have. Luck – really think that high luck influences .moar file drops, so I have luck maxed out.

I get the same delivery as Wylin. I think it’s the max delivery.

I try to keep it fairly well-rounded, but I do like boosting my luck!

Upkeep has actually made a big difference to the amount of money I’m forking out after a few forums. Worth investing in, otherwise you’re throwing a lot away. Once you’re higher level, you’re a) buying less meds and b) owning more expensive equipment, so upkeep becomes more important than thrift then.

If one of each item that I got is the standard max, how low of a level community forum can you get the max from? I haven’t really tested that yet.
